The Knightstown Chamber meets the first Thursday each month for its regular monthly meeting. The Board of Directors meets at 5:45 p.m. with the regular meeting following at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Hoosier Gym classroom (Adams Street entrance). All members are encouraged to attend and participate in making decisions to improve and support our community. Those interested in joining the Chamber are also welcome.

Board of Directors Meeting at 5:45 p.m.

Board Members in Attendance - Amy Blackwell, Sue Hood, Rusty Johnson, Neil Shaneyfelt, Tina Williams, Erin Winters

Meeting opened with discussion on number of board members. We are currently at 13.

Fish Wagon report presented by Neil Shaneyfelt. There was a profit for Jubilee Days comparable to last year. It was agreed that the 100 quart thermos needed to be replaced which was discussed and approved earlier in the fish wagon improvements.

Farmers Market – It is slowly growing with 5 vendors; we need workers to open and close the Wednesday and Saturday time slots. Please contact the Tielkings if you can assist.

The Christmas ornaments were delivered and put with the other decorations.

Citizen of the Year Banquet was successful. The expenses will be presented along with the Jubilee day financial information at the next meeting.

It was discussed that we need to confirm dates for Jubilee Days in 2011 and Fall Fest 2011 in order to get everything listed in the Event brochures. We discussed checking to see if the second week in June was available for the Carnival group. June 8-11, 2011.

The Knightstown Crime Watch had presented an appreciation plaque to the Chamber for their assistance.

Fall Fest – Everything Engraving apparel and provide the numbers for the banners. We just need to determine the size for the vinyl. It was also discussed to have a follow-up meeting to discuss the organization of the Fall Fest.

Banners went on the High School lot and Ernie's/Adams Enterprises lot.
