The Knightstown Chamber meets the first Thursday each month for its regular monthly meeting. The Board of Directors meets at 5:45 p.m. with the regular meeting following at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Hoosier Gym classroom (Adams Street entrance). All members are encouraged to attend and participate in making decisions to improve and support our community. Those interested in joining the Chamber are also welcome.

Board of Directors Meeting at 5:45 p.m.

Board Members in Attendance - Steve Brooks, Sally Conyers, Rusty Johnson, Jean Kraus, Neil Shaneyfelt, Tina Williams, Bill Windsor

Minutes ---

Sally Conyers, Treasurer, opened the meeting with the Treasurer’s Report. A motion was made to accept the report; motion carried.

Motion made to remove Norm Carroll as a representative for the American Legion, and add Jerry Jordan to represent the American Legion.

Motion made to allow the American Legion to use the fish wagon the first two weeks in April; all proceeds will go towards the new Flag Fund.

Steve Brooks would like to contact Stacy Cox to include events for the American Legion on the chamber web site.

Jean Kraus had numerous compliments on the Christmas decorations. However some of the decorations were not lit. Penny Shaneyfelt asked the town about this, and apparently there is a reset that tripped on the top of the pole that made them not work.

Amy Blackwell resigned as the president of the Chamber.
