Upcoming Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Events Calendar

May 7-9  Mother’s Day
It’s Mom’s SPECIAL Weekend!! Treat Mom like royalty this weekend. A Mary Kay party is planned. Join us for an
adult make it and take it craft ($). Let’s give Mom Saturday night off and join us for a special spaghetti dinner ($) in the large pavilion. Bring the whole family and Moms eat free.
 
May 14-16  Armed Forces Weekend
This weekend will honor our veterans and active members of the armed forces. Show us your discharge card or Uncle Sam ID and camp for 50% off this weekend. A parade, veteran recognition, arts and crafts, games and patriotic activities are planned.

May 21-23  Junior Rangers
New program this year!!Youth groups welcome. Earn Ranger recognition by participating in the Leave No Trace program with activities. Scouts, tie activities into badge work. Sing camp songs. Friday night scrapbooking in the pavilion, bring your own supplies.

May 28-31  Racing Into Summer
Ladies and Gentleman, Start your engines!! The 19th annual race is ready to roll! Bring a cardboard box that will fit around your child to make those racecars for the “Big Race” on Sunday afternoon. Don’t forget your pit crew and an extra pair of shoes. Dances return for the season    (Memorial Day through September 26th) along with tournaments and karaoke. 3 night minimum, $10 holiday surcharge.

June 4-6  Yogi Olympics
You don’t have to be the best, just have fun and take the Jellystone Park test.  Join us for Olympics Yogi style.  Family involvement in activities. Fun for all. Make it and take it basket craft ($) for 12 years old +, and join a Longaberger party.

June 11-13  Cowboy Weekend
Come join the Circle D Rangers (re-enactors) for wild west action! See Hop-A-Long Cassidy, Jessie James, Annie Oakley, Curly Bill, Doc Holiday and Johnny Ringo, and a "real" cowboy town! Dramatic shoot outs, bean spitting, hay bale throwing, needle in the haystack hunt, and other cowboy activities will occur. Wear cowboy and cowgirl gear.

June 18-20  Father’s Day
Dad, this is your time to spend with your kids!! Try your hand at our annual hot dog eating contest, and don’t forget the about the Famous Dad’s contests! Bring the kids to the pavilion for games galore. Dads and children tournaments will be fun.

June 25-27  Luau Weekend
ALOHA! Bring your beach towels, sunglasses, swimsuit, and sunscreen to hula your day away at Jellystone Park. Limbo, hula hoop and pineapple eating contests, arts and crafts, musical beach towels and other games abound this weekend.
 
July 2-5   “Stars & Stripes” 4th July - Ranger Dan’s Fabulous Fireworks On The 4th
Join Yogi & staff to celebrate America’s birthday. Decorate your site/cabin in red, white, and blue to win free camping. Join an ice cream social ($), and patriotic parade. Bring a dessert for a Camp Sunshine dessert action ($). Holiday tournaments return along with karaoke and dances. 3 night minimum, $10 holiday surcharge.

July 9-11  Birthday For Yogi
You’re invited to attend a birthday party for Yogi that you won't forget! Come and decorate Yogi a birthday card. Join Yogi staff for cake (provided), make your own ice cream and join party games. Join Yogi for lunch ($), wagon rides and dance. Adult make it and take it craft ($).

July 16-18  Wet & Wild
If you like to stay “dry” than this weekend is not for you!!! Just like always, get ready for a “Soaking good time!” Don’t forget your wristband for the campground wide water fight! Wet wagon ride (campsite involvement), sponge tag, water limbo and pool games are just a few of the fun activities. Junior Ranger meeting and activities. Annual water ball fight with the Knightstown Volunteer Fire Department.

July 23-25  Christmas In July

Santa Claus is coming to Jellystone Park via the Knightstown Volunteer Fire Department. Please provide a SMALL wrapped gift for your child, ($10 value or less), for Santa to give to your child. Decorate your site to win free camping. Try your hand at marshmallow snowman building, snowball fights, and making your own ornament for our Christmas tree. Friday night scrapbooking in the pavilion, bring your supplies.

July 30-August 1  Mardi Gras
Let’s celebrate Mardi Gras Yogi Bear style!  Decorate your bikes, golf carts, pets or yourself (if you want) for our parade. Make your own masks, necklaces, and participate in hourly activities.
 
August 7-9  Civil War Weekend
It’s 1863, and the Union and Confederate Armies will be encamped at Jellystone Park. You and your family will be able to experience how they lived, ate, slept, played, dressed, drilled, and fought through our living history reenactment. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience what life was like during the Civil War. Many hands-on activities and demonstrations will be available.

Aug. 13-15  Fiesta Party
Join in the celebration of the Yogi Bear Fiesta Party! Make your own piñata’s, eat walking taco’s ($), and decorate your own maracas. Bring your best salsa to the large pavilion and let Yogi judges see who makes the best salsa at Jellystone Park. Join in an adult make it and take it craft ($) and a Pampered Chef party.

August 20-22  Gold Panning
Come on out to Jellystone Park Creek and join the Indiana Gold Prospectors Association!! We’ll have gold panning demonstrations, scavenger hunts, creek stomping and camp song singing.

August 27-29  Magic Weekend
Plan on lots of magic tricks. Visits by local magicians. Come prepared to participate in a camper magic show. Bring your own magic tricks! Participate in a glow light parade. Friday night scrapbooking, bring your own supplies.

Sept.  3-6  Labor Day Weekend - (Help Raise Money For Camp Sunshine)
This is the last big weekend before summer is over and let’s enjoy it!!  Come join Yogi and staff to help raise money for camp sunshine. We will have 50/50 raffle, ice cream social ($), duck races, dessert auction, silent auction and hourly activities. Holiday tournaments and karaoke return. 3 night minimum, holiday surcharge.
 
Sept. 10-12  Celebrate Grandparents
Celebrate camping with grandparents. Bring those grandchildren and participate in "twin" activities and games with them. Activities will include tie-dye($), camp song singing, Saturday night dance with Yogi, and a make it and take it craft ($) ages 12 years +.

Sept. 17-19  Birthday For Boo BooTM
Boo BooTM can hardly wait for his BIG day!! Come help Yogi make this a great weekend. Join Yogi, Cindy BearTM and staff for Boo Boo’s party games and have cookies and ice cream. Plus, make a special card to hang up for Boo Boo and dance on Saturday night.   
 
Sept. 24-26  Birthday For Cindy BearTM
Let’s make this year the best year for parties with Cindy BearTM!! Jellystone Park staff would like to invite everyone to decorate their own cupcakes, make their own ice cream and play lots of party games. Join Cindy BearTM on the wagon and sing “Happy Birthday” to her. Do a tie-dye ($), have lunch with the bears ($), make arts and crafts, do Friday night scrapbooking in the pavilion (bring your supplies), and dance on Saturday night.

October  1-3  Little Goblins
This is a non-scary weekend for the little ones!! Visit the pumpkin patch where registered children 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin. Participate in pumpkin decorating, treats in the haystack, a costume parade, and trick or treating with Yogi (bring candy for around 150 kids). Decorate your campsite/cabin to win free camping.

October 8-10  Great Pumpkin
Help Yogi bear search for the Great Pumpkin!! Ride the Pumpkin Express to the pumpkin patch where registered children 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin. Do pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, and enjoy trick or treating with Yogi at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids).  Decorate your campsite/cabin and win free camping. Make it and take it craft ($) 12 years +.

October 16-18  Ghosts & Goblins  (Legend Of Clayton Dillon)
After the Legend is told will you still want to walk around the campground? Will you still sit by your campfire? Watch out for black cats, spooky witches and ghosts and goblins running around!! We will have plenty of fun this weekend. Join in trick or treating at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids), tie-dye ($), a costume parade, arts and crafts, and games. Decorate your campsite/cabin to win free camping.

October 22-24  Headless Horseman
The Headless Horseman rides again at Jellystone Park. Will Jake find Maxwell this year? Come out and see what happens during this fun-filled weekend. There will be trick or treating at the campsites (bring candy for about 150 kids), costume judging, treats in the haystack and other creepy things to try. Decorate your campsite/cabin to win free camping. Join Friday night scrapbooking in the pavilion, bring your own supplies.

Oct 30-Nov 1  Scarecrows & Spooks
This is the biggest, scariest, and spookiest weekend for all to enjoy!!!  Join Yogi staff in making this the best end of the season party around. We need everyone's help to put Yogi to bed for the season. Haunted wagon rides, trick or treating (bring candy for approx. 200 children), arts and crafts, a costume dance, and more activities will haunt you! Decorate your campsite/cabin to win free camping.  $10.00 holiday surcharge $75 deposit required for this week.
