Whether you're walking down the bent grass fairways of one of Indiana's finest public golf courses or searching for unique treasures in one of our antique malls, Knightstown offers a wealth of experiences for people of all ages.
Boondocks Farms - "Preserving nature while educating our community" is one of the many slogans coined by Greg Hochstedler, owner of Boondocks Farms, Knightstown's new
agritourism attraction located just off of SR 109 on Grant City Road.  Picture a 160-acre farm growing various crops of fruits and berries, raising a wide variety of animals, and giving school groups an agricultural experience unlike any other in the state.  Seasonal events abound at Boondocks Farms.  Seasonal hours; more information available at www.boondocksfarms.com.

CKS Railroad – Take a ride back in time on the Carthage, Knightstown, and Shirley Railroad. Departing from the old New York Central freight and passenger station (112 W. Carey), the CKS railroad takes you on a nostalgic ride through corn fields, scenic woods, and across the Big Blue River into Carthage. When you pull back into the station you'll find an assortment of antique railroad equipment.
Remember your trip with souvenirs from the CKS Railroad gift shop. The train pulls out of the station every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 to 4:30, May through October. Visit their website for schedules and more information.

Antique Shops – The western gateway of Indiana's antique alley, Knightstown boasts some of the states best antique shops and malls.  Each of our four antique malls offers a diverse blend of the hard to find and the "do you remember when?" You'll find everything from Victorian furniture and primitives to antique phones, pie safes, and a large selection of collectibles. For more information, visit their website.

Hoosier Gym – In 1985 Knightstown's old high school gym became the home to Hoosiers' Hickory High's championship season. Today the Hoosier Gym is fully restored as a community center, with tours available by calling 800-668-1895. You can shoot a basket from the spot where Jimmy made the game winner as time expired, walk through the locker room where coach Norman Dale retreated after being tossed from the game, or sit in the stands and relive the magic of what Sports Illustrated called one of the five greatest sports movies of all time.

Break from the ordinary by playing eighteen challenging holes of golf at Royal Hylands Golf Club, a course reminiscent of the Scottish links courses. The Royal Hylands Golf Club, located between Knightstown and interstate 70 off of state road 109, offers challenges to all golfers, both old and new. From its bent grass fairways to the deep heather that surrounds the final eight holes, this is no ordinary public golf course. Host of the public links championship, 1993, 1995,
and 1999, Royal Hylands Golf Club demands mastery of the short game to overcome tough approach shots.  Golfers throughout Indiana and western Ohio have discovered Royal Hylands is a great course you'll enjoy playing again and again.
